Plummer Park

Tennis courts in Plummer Park
For players around West Hollywood, CA, Plummer Park stands out as a park listing with enough detail to plan a smart tennis visit. Because the listing notes a flexible tennis setup, players can think ahead about crowding, partner meetups, and how much time they may need. The surface is not specified in the listing, so players should check conditions on arrival and bring shoes that work for typical outdoor tennis. The listing does not provide posted hours, making it smart to check signs, city pages, or facility contacts before treating it as an open tennis court. Since lights are not listed, plan around daylight and avoid cutting a close match too near sunset. Because the listing is marked free, it is especially appealing for recreational tennis, beginner practice, and no-pressure rallies. When no reservation system is shown, expect public-court etiquette: share time, rotate after a set or hour, and check whether local leagues have priority. The court can support tennis lessons for adults, point play, warm-up routines, and structured practice for anyone trying to build a better weekly tennis habit.

Used to be a great public court . It has 7 courts. Then a few years back Itennis came into this public park and took away 3 courts for teaching. Then tennacity, came into the park after them and made 2 pickleball courts on top of courts 6&7. So now tennacity has 3 teaching courts and 2 pickleball courts. That leaves 2 courts for freeplay tennis that are constantly booked and never enforced for no shows. Our public park that shares revenue with a private business. ???? Do i get a tax refund. There's only one good thing about that place and it's one of the employees of tenacity that works in the shop. Outside of that all i hear are complaints. Oh and I've never seen so many employees quit. Rumor is the boss is a wack job.

The setting gives Plummer Park a lived-in quality, which is often what separates a favorite court from a forgettable one. California tennis often benefits from mild weather, park systems, beach or foothill routines, and a strong mix of lessons, leagues, and casual hitting groups. For anyone learning tennis, a familiar neighborhood court can be less intimidating than a formal club and easier to revisit consistently. A park setting also makes it easy to bring family along or turn a match into a picnic, walk, or casual meetup.
